Expand Your Business Expertise with the Interdisciplinary Track

Commencing in the 2026–27 academic year, HKU Business School will introduce an Interdisciplinary Track (the Track) which aims to meet the growing market demand for professionals who possess diversified and cross-disciplinary skill sets.

Participation in the Interdisciplinary Track is entirely optional. Enrolled students will have the opportunity to pursue an Interdisciplinary Track offered by another specialised Master’s programme within HKU Business School. The Track comprises 30 credits (five 6-credit courses), including 12 credits of core courses and 18 credits of electives. It is designed to be undertaken alongside the second year of study. Additional tuition fees will apply for students who opt for the Track. To encourage broader academic exploration across disciplines, the Track will be offered at a significantly reduced fee compared with the standard composition fee.

The Interdisciplinary Track expands graduates’ knowledge and enhances their ability to tackle complex, cross-functional challenges, strengthening their career readiness in today’s dynamic business landscape.
