🌟 HKU Business School recently hosted the 2026–27 Dean’s Master Fellowship Welcome Reception, bringing together Fellowship awardees from across different Master’s programmes.
As one of HKU Business School’s key scholarship initiatives, the Dean’s Master Fellowship recognises students with outstanding academic performance and strong potential. In addition to scholarship support, awardees will have access to internship opportunities, personalised mentorship, networking activities, and Global Centre Study Modules.
🎓 Welcoming a New Cohort
During the Welcome Reception, Prof. Xin Wang, Associate Dean, delivered welcome remarks and shared the vision and objectives of the Dean’s Master Fellowship. Students were encouraged to make full use of the diverse academic and development opportunities available at HKU Business School.
🤝 Mentorship and Growth
The event also introduced the Fellowship’s mentoring support, led by Ms. Serena Tang, Director of Career Development and Training. Career Coaches play an important role in supporting students throughout their Master’s studies, providing guidance, industry insights, and practical advice from experienced professionals.
💡 Alumni Sharing
A highlight of the evening was the alumni sharing session. Introduced by
Ms. Do Do So, Director of MSc Alumni and Student Service, our alumni shared their successful stories of “My Dean’s Master Fellowship Journey: Growth, Connection and Opportunities.” Students gained valuable perspectives on the HKU Business School experience and the opportunities available through the Fellowship.
🥂 Building Connections
The Welcome Reception brought together Fellowship awardees, mentors, alumni, and faculty members, creating opportunities for meaningful exchange and connection.
We look forward to seeing this year’s awardees make the most of the learning, mentorship, and development opportunities available through the Fellowship. 🎉
