Event Recap | The Global Talent Summit 2026
The Global Talent Summit 2026 has successfully wrapped up, and HKU Business School was proud to participate. Our booth welcomed numerous visitors keen to learn about our programmes and global opportunities.

A key highlight was a panel chaired by Professor Heiwai Tang, Associate Dean, titled “Navigating the Future: The Paradigm Shift in Education and Talent Strategy,” where academic leaders discussed how cross-border collaboration and industry partnerships can drive innovation and future-ready skills.

At the Connection Hub, Sachin Tipnis, Senior Executive Director, spoke on “Future-Ready Graduates: Universities and the Evolving Workplace,” highlighting the need for strong professional knowledge plus three core competencies—adaptability, interpersonal skills and digital/technological literacy—and how HKU Business School is reshaping its curriculum accordingly.
Amid the week’s buzzing atmosphere, we spoke with many ambitious individuals eager to build their global careers through our Programmes. To enhance this experience, we introduced a special interactive marketing simulation at the summit, giving participants a firsthand glimpse into our courses. A big thank you to Ziyun Jiao our MSc in Business Analytics alumna, for creating such an innovative experience, and to Prof. Zhongqiang (Tak) Huang, our MSc in Marketing (MScMktg) Programme Director, for his dedicated guidance.
During the summit, we gained valuable insights into global talent trends and explored job opportunities and potential in the GBA. We also connected with prominent companies and industry leaders, opening up diverse prospects for our students.
Last but not least, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organiser, Hong Kong Talent Engage, for their exceptional efforts in curating this event!
