"I really wanted to learn more about doing business in APAC."

I have worked and lived in EMEA and the US. Thus, I really wanted to learn more about doing business in APAC. Asia and especially Greater China play a central role in the global technology and commodity market, making it absolutely central for me to know and understand said marketplace. Hong Kong is a great entry point.

How are you enjoying the programme so far? Any specific courses you would like to highlight on?

Classes like China Marketing and Big Data User Analytics are both classes that I know will extend my toolset to lead new innovative marketing tech techniques and cutting-edge initiatives across Geos’.

Did the ongoing uncertainty such as geopolitical factors and pandemic impact your decision in pursuing your MBA in Hong Kong?

Honestly, it did not. However, it got me quite a few concerned comments from friends, family and colleagues. Especially when I threw in that I’m joining the CBS track and will go to NYC for a few months, which was heavily on the news due to its high number of COVID cases. Now that I am here, a lot of the comments have shifted. As the COVID situation has worsened across Europe, HK has done a great job in keeping case numbers down.
